Have a subways and Chester chicken. Very blah! Neither chain is that great to begin with. Store was decent and stocked. Bathrooms were okay.
I stopped coming to loves along time ago.. Bathrooms are never clean.. I've been driving 20 yrs and I'm sure there are a few good ones but I haven't found many.. flies everywhere.. subway has been played out for some time now. Chester fried isn't that good. Batter falls off when u pick up the food and chicken tastes like old grease.. that's everywhere go...
This place has potential to be awesome. They have the space and the customer base. Hopefully this Loves will clean up soon.
Would be nice if they kept an eye on the diesel fuel pumps and at least tried to keep trucks moving. Lines were backed up for at least 10 min, with trucks in front of pumps and inside ordering food and talking. I spent at least 5 min on the street unable to even pull in to get fuel. Keep in mind, there were plenty of open truck parking spots. However the store itself was clean, and bathrooms.
This Loves was not very clean. Unfortunately it is the only place to stop within 40 miles. The gas pumps were really worn down and super gross. The restroom was dirty and the interior was just short of scarey dirty.
This travel stop has a subway attached to it where you can order pizza as well as subs, there are plenty of drink choices in the Loves Store itself. The one aspect I did not like was that they were selling 85 octane gas as their "regular" grade and not 87 octane. I saw similar at another gas station in the mountains, so maybe that is standard around here to sell low grade gas at the prices one usually pays for a higher price. But, I still do not appreciate it.
